Small Town Chefs Awards

The Louisiana Lottery proudly sponsors Country Roads Magagine's Small Town Chefs Awards  celebrating four highly accomplished chefs from Louisiana’s small towns. These awards are presented in conjunction with the Louisiana Culinary Institute and proceeds will benefit the LCI Foundation, which provides scholarships to deserving LCI students and provides food to charitable organizations that feed the homeless or needy.  These chefs will be profiled with feature articles in the July cuisine issue of Country Roads and honored at the 2015 Small Town Chefs Awards and Tasting Showcase, at Baton Rouge’s Louisiana Culinary Institute on Thursday, June 25. Features of the dinner will include: a tasting-style menu showcasing signature dishes by the 2015 award-winning chefs, passed hors d’oeuvres by Louisiana Culinary Institute chefs and students, wine pairings by Acquistapace of Covington, live music by Kirk Holder, and tours of LCI’s demonstration kitchens.
